Angelic based Lash Leaf's design on an old Latin beauty hack: the spoon. It is the ONLY of its kind in design and concept.
She is no stranger to the beauty industry. As a Cosmetologist, she has specialized in non-surgical hair replacement for over 17 years where she runs her private practice called, La Maison de Cheveux.
HOW WAS LASH LEAF BORN?
Traditional curlers have so many problems with pinching, crimping, etc. So, many turned to household objects to curl their lashes, ie., a kitchen spoon or a Vick's vapor rub cap etc.....We NEEDED something else in our make-up bag besides a spoon or "la tapa de Vicks".
For many years prior, I also carried a spoon in my make-up bag. I was asked by a former co-worker if I smoked crack! haha!! Then, on a girls trip, another friend of mine caught me in the "act" and thought it was so cool, she said "you should do something with that." THAT'S when the journey began.
WHY DID I INVENT THIS BEAUTY SPOON, IF I WAS ALREADY USING A KITCHEN SPOON?
Simple, a kitchen spoon was designed to go in your mouth. You have a long handle that is not necessary. No matter what size or type of spoon used, they all hurt and are uncomfortable. So, it was designed with comfort and practicality in mind with its dual-end and anatomical curve. So, all you ladies that used a kitchen spoon to curl your lashes - trade out your kitchen spoon for your new Beauty Spoon - Lash Leaf!
