How can you not? đ€·đ»ââïž If you wear eyelash extensions, then you know the upkeep and the care necessary to maintain your "look." What's happening is, in an effort to keep the extensions from falling out, women are not washing their eyelashes. This is an expensive beauty trend but it could cost you more than just money.
The medical term is called Demodex Folliculorum. They are tiny mites that feed off of a build up of dirt and debris which increases bacteria then leads to infection - AND they are contagious! Some common signs are chronic irritation or inflammation.
So keep it clean, Girls! Wash your eyelashes daily. Your Lash artist can recommend some great products. Also, give your eyes a break every now and then.
Being in the beauty industry for over 15 years, I prefer a natural look overall. There is a time and a place for a dramatic look. I have worn falsies and lash extensions for certain occasions, but in my humble opinion, natural is best. There are some really great Lash Serums and mascaras out there that can give drama without the "drama."
