I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Angelic. I'm the Founder of Lash Lines LLC and the inventor of the Lash Leafđeyelash curler.
I am a licensed cosmetologist since 2005. I am a parent since 2004 đ. Lash Lines LLC was born three years ago but the journey started long before then.
THE JOURNEY: Most people think that once you get your patent, you get rich quick...at least that's what I thought. Not true. My business journey is still unfolding. It's a constant investment of time, money, effort and passion. I am the type of person that hates doing what everyone else is doing, hence the conception of Lash Leafđ. Dare I be so bold to flip the script!
Traditional curlers have so many problems with pinching, crimping, etc. So, many turned to household objects to curl their lashes, ie., a kitchen spoon or a Vick's vapor rub cap etcđ .....We NEEDED something else in our make-up bag besides a spoon or "la tapa de Vicks" đ. For many years prior, I also carried a spoon in my make-up bag. I was asked by a former co-worker if I smoked crack! haha!! Then, on a girls trip, another friend of mine caught me in the "act" and thought it was so cool, she said "you should do something with that." THAT'S when the journey began. Lot's of sketches, paper prototypes, plastic prototypes...I bounced ideas off of friends and family. My dad was the true designer - he made my first metal prototypeâşď¸. Then came the patent, the name, copyright, trademark, barcodes, insurance, packaging, marketing, marketing and more marketing. I have come to the realization that this is my new life. Ultimately, if anything else, this has been a beautiful adventure and an example for my kids. After all, how many people can say they've invented something and brought it to market??
